PERSONAL EXPLORATION - 2026

Hi, I’m Nick.

A curious mind, where everything is possible.

18+ YEARS MAKING THINGS WORK

CODE. CONTEXT. CURIOSITY.

01 / THE MIND

Different disciplines.
One connected mind.

Follow a thread. See what I’ve built with it.

01 / AI NATIVE DEVELOPMENT

AI at the heart of the workflow

Beyond thechat window.

I build agents, their tools, and the skills that coordinate their work. I design how agents share tasks, keep context, and review results.

  • MCP
  • LLM integration
  • RAG
  • Agent skills
  • Orchestration

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

WORKFLOW DESIGN

Skills for agent orchestration

I design reusable skills with scoped tasks, clear ownership, saved context, and independent review. A state validator checks recorded evidence before integration.

DESKTOP & AI AGENTS

StrixApp

A desktop client and node daemon that keep agents running after the app closes. Built for remote nodes and connected tools.

02 / PYTHON

From an idea to a working system

Small tools.Real-world systems.

I use Python to turn complex problems into services and tools people can depend on. From configuration files to the infrastructure behind solar energy.

  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • gRPC
  • Machine learning

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

OPEN SOURCE

EnvYAML

A YAML configuration parser with environment-variable expansion and access to nested data.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

raicoon

Critical Python services for the Autonomous Operations Center. Earlier ML work detected anomalies across 100+ solar PV sites.

03 / RUST

Close to the machine

Built to run.Made to last.

I build desktop systems, background daemons, and shared application cores in Rust. I also move performance-critical Python processing into Rust while keeping Python interfaces.

  • Rust
  • Desktop
  • CLI tools
  • MCP servers

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

CROSS-PLATFORM

StrixApp runtime

A Rust and TypeScript desktop client and node daemon for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Persistent agents and encrypted connections without inbound ports.

OPEN SOURCE

Published Rust tools

openrouter-mcp and hetzner-mcp bring model access and cloud management to the command line and agent workflows.

MODEL CONTEXT PROTOCOL (MCP)

Tools agents can use

I build Rust MCP servers with discoverable inputs, structured results, and interactive views. Compatibility handling helps different clients use the same tools.

04 / TYPESCRIPT

Ideas with a clear structure

Interfaces to use.Tools to build with.

I use TypeScript to build desktop interfaces and developer tools. It connects the product people use with the systems that make it work.

  • TypeScript
  • Desktop interfaces
  • Developer tools
  • Agent workflows

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

DESKTOP APPLICATION

StrixApp desktop

A TypeScript and Rust desktop client connected to a node daemon, bringing persistent agents and remote tools into one application.

LANGUAGE & RUNTIME

AE Lang / SwarmGentic

A language, compiler, and runtime for agent workflows, with parallel tasks, retries, evaluation, and tracing.

05 / DEVOPS

Build it. Ship it. Keep it running.

Good softwareneeds solid ground.

Infrastructure is part of the product. I work across deployment, networking, storage, and operations. I also structure the knowledge people and agents need to maintain systems.

  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Linux
  • Ansible
  • GitLab CI

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

CLOUD TOOLING

hetzner-mcp

An MCP server for managing Hetzner Cloud servers, networks, volumes, and firewalls.

Explore the code

PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

Infrastructure in practice

Kubernetes operations at raicoon. Private multi-node S3 storage for a security platform. Servers and networking at Belnet.

DOCUMENTATION & PLAYBOOKS

Operational knowledge

I organize system knowledge, decisions, and setup procedures for people and agents. Status and freshness rules make the documentation easier to assess.

06 / FULL-STACK

The whole picture

From the first clickto the last mile.

I connect interfaces, APIs, backend services, and deployment into one product. I work on the boundaries too: live updates, session expiry, and payment state.

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js
  • REST
  • FastAPI

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

AI VISIBILITY

HiGuru

An AI-visibility audit application with payments and a Dockerized backend. Its evaluation harness compared three LLMs across 12 dimensions.

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Think Tanker

Laravel features, a Python backend on AWS, and a React frontend, alongside execution-time optimization and network monitoring.

APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE

One service, several interfaces

I connect browser and mini app interfaces to shared backend services. Signed sessions, live updates, and transactional payment handling connect the layers.

07 / MOBILE APPS

Useful beyond a connection

A window seat.A working idea.

I build mobile apps around device sensors, local data, and shared application logic. I connect native APIs and test interfaces across languages, screen sizes, and text scales.

  • Flutter
  • Dart
  • Native interop
  • Offline maps
  • Shared cores

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

PRIVATE MOBILE APP

Offline flight tracker

An Android-first Flutter app showing flight progress and arrival estimates. After route setup, offline maps and available phone satellite fixes support tracking without internet.

FLIGHT TRACKER CAPABILITIES

Record. Replay. Understand.

Native Android satellite diagnostics, flight recording, and replay through the same flight display. Local logs connect device data with what passengers see.

CROSS-PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE

Shared logic. Native interfaces.

I connect a shared Rust core to Flutter and desktop interfaces through platform adapters. Core behavior stays separate from the interface each platform needs.

08 / MINI APPS & BOTS

Small surfaces. Useful software.

A little interface.A lot behind it.

I build mini apps and bots that connect people to application services. Authentication, subscriptions, and payment handling support those focused interfaces.

  • Mini apps
  • Bots
  • Authentication
  • Payments
  • APIs

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

MINI APP ENGINEERING

Small interface, shared services

I connect mini app interfaces to backend APIs and live updates. Signed sessions control access and expire when their validity ends.

BOT INTEGRATION

From payment to service access

I connect bot payment events to subscription state and service access. Backend handlers account for successful payments, refunds, and subscription changes.

09 / IOT DEVELOPMENT

Where software meets the world

Signals intosomething useful.

I connect physical devices with the software that monitors and controls them. Cameras, onsite alarms, telemetry, and cloud services become one working system.

  • IoT
  • Computer vision
  • Telemetry
  • Device control
  • Cloud

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORDS

COMPUTER VISION & IoT

MORE THAN WHAT’S ON MY CV.THERE’S A HEART IN HERE, TOO.
FOLLOW THE FEELING

02 /THE HEART

Not everything
needs a reason.

New places. Long walks. A little less screen time.
The things that make room for the next idea.

A COLLECTION OF ELSEWHERE

Places we
bring home.

Our fridge is a little map of our trips. A city, a coastline, a mountain - each magnet brings a piece of somewhere home.

PICK A MAGNET. TAKE A CLOSER LOOK.

Santorini

Blue domes and white houses, held inside a little painted heart.

FROM OUR FRIDGE, WITH LOVE
COLLECT MOMENTS.

OFFLINE IS A GOOD PLACE, TOO

Some paths don’t need a keyboard.

I like to travel. I like to hike.
There’s always more to explore.
